About this data

This tool is built from our national database of US public schools and school districts, covering both individual schools and the districts they belong to.

Results are limited to schools and districts marked as open and operational. Closed, inactive, and future-status entities are excluded so you are not searching stale directory listings. Coverage is public schools and public school districts only; private schools are not yet included.

Not every field is populated for every record. Website URLs in particular are not consistently available for every school or district, so a blank website field reflects a gap in the underlying data rather than an error in this tool.

How current is the data?

Does this include private schools?

No, not yet. This tool currently covers public schools and public school districts only. Private school coverage is a possible future addition.

Why do some schools or districts show no phone number or website?

Some fields, particularly website URLs, are not consistently available for every school or district, so a blank field means that information isn't in our database, not an error in this tool.

Can I download the full dataset?

This tool is built for one-off lookups rather than bulk export. If you need the full national dataset with additional fields like enrollment, staffing, or finance data for a marketing or research project, our team can prepare a custom extract, see our education industry data page.
