How the data is actually built
A lot of B2B data vendors will tell you their database is large. Few will explain how it stays accurate. Data Mappers compiles records from B2B portals and magazine subscriptions, annual reports and SEC filings, business directories, new business registrations, and data provider partnerships, then runs them through real-time email verification before anything is delivered. Compilation methods are proprietary, but the sources feeding them are not a mystery.
Records are refreshed on an ongoing basis rather than sitting static after the first collection pass. That matters because B2B data decays quickly, people change jobs, companies merge, phone numbers get reassigned, so a database that isn't actively maintained is quietly going stale even if it looked accurate on day one.
Every list you receive, whether it's an appended database or a targeted export for a campaign, goes through the same verification step before delivery. That's also why the guarantee exists: if a portion of what you receive turns out to be disconnected, out of date, or undeliverable, that's on us to fix, not on you to absorb.
